Dr. Irvine received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota and then worked as a biomedical engineer for 3M. He attended medical school at St. Louis University and completed an internship in general surgery at Saint Louis University Medical Center. Dr. Irvine spent three years in the United States Air Force serving as a medical officer before returning to Saint Louis University to complete his orthopedic residency. He is board certified in both Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and specializes in arthroscopic treatment of all joint disorders in addition to joint reconstruction.
In order to deliver the best orthopedic treatment and sports rehab patient care possible, Dr. Irvine is assisted by his Nurse Practitioner, Alicia Rushing. Alicia is a licensed, board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Saint Louis University with a Master’s degree in nursing.
